Jackie Green is a British nutritionist and dieititian, registered with the Health Professions Council in the UK and a is member of The British Dietetic Association, The Singapore Nutrition and Dietetic Association and Sports Dietitians Australia. She is a level 1 ISAK anthropometrist (skinfold measurements).
Jackie loves food and cooking and places particular emphasis on the practical advice she gives her clients translating the nutrition theory for a particular diet and condition into personal food and meal advice. Food has to be delicious and nutritious
On a voluntary basis, Jackie runs the CanHOPE Expat Cancer Support Group which meets twice a month and welcomes people with a new cancer diagnosis and those who have completed their treatment. The group is open to all and is free of charge.
Jackie worked as an oncology dietitian at The Royal Marsden Hospital in UK for many years during which time she helped adults and children over come the eating difficulties which often arise from cancer or as a side effect of treatment.
Emerging evidence shows that the same diet and lifestyle changes that can reduce cancer risk, also reduce the chances of getting heart disease, type 2 diabetes and even dementia.
